The iH18 has a dock to charge and play the iPod shuffle, can I use that to charge my iPhone/other iPod model?
No. The shuffle dock is only for use with an iPod shuffle. Connecting any other device such as an iPhone or iPod via the USB cable that came with it to the iH18 can damage the iH18, iPhone, iPod or both.

iPod does not function
If your iPod doesn't function (is frozen or locked up), you may have a problem with your iPod's firmware. Please update your iPod software/firmware to the latest version, available at www.apple.com/ipod/download. In the meantime, you can reset your iPod (see below).
iPod batteries: Please refer to Apple website www.apple.com and note that iPod batteries may eventually require replacement.
